Hello and welcome to my personal music collection! My name is Bas, and on this website I keep track of every record I have ever bought. I started collecting CD's around 2000 when I was about 11 years old. Around that time I got my first two CD's from my father, namely the most beautiful albums "Watermark" and "Shepherd Moons", both by Enya. It was since then that I knew how much music could move me. Now music is a sort of parallel universe which I can't live without anymore. Though it was not until 2002 that I really started collecting music, because then I discovered the wonderful world of internet: here I could buy new music easily. Because in my opinion, Dutch record stores are very limited, providing only the most popular music. I also found the wonderful site of Last.fm, which keeps track of all the music I listen to, and recommends music based on my personal taste (you can see some stats below). All in all this resulted in a ever growing music collection, which is listed here now.
